Nic had been throwing a lot of different cups and bowls on the new wheel.. Trying to just get his hand into it.. and also to practice up before he was going to be away from it for a few weeks. I have claimed a bowl and two of the mugs to paint designs on....

Our studio has gotten another upgrade as of last week… a pottery wheel! We opted for a small table-top model, the Speedball Artista. Since we’re just starting out, it’s for a hobby and not production, and because our crafting area overflows with stuff we wanted to go with something a little more compact and portable....
So after getting way too busy for a little while there I’ve finally gotten the chance to play with glass again. I think generally I have the idea but it takes quite a bit of practice to get it right. So I’m assuming to practice somewhat frequently.. once every day or so. I’ll update this...
